Description
Maun Heavy Duty Hole Punch Pliers 160mm (3.2–6.4mm) are precision punching tools designed for cleanly cutting holes through heavy-duty paper, card, plastic and thin shim steel. Their parallel-action mechanism multiplies the applied hand force by 7, reducing the effort required while a precision-ground punch helps produce clean, accurate holes for craft, jewellery making and engineering applications.
Product Overview
The Maun Heavy Duty Hole Punch Pliers combine a powerful parallel-action jaw mechanism with precise control for demanding punching applications. The mechanism multiplies hand force by 7, allowing tougher materials to be punched with less effort than conventional plier designs.
A precision-ground punch provides a clean cutting action, while the adjustable gauge allows the distance between the hole and material edge to be controlled. This is particularly useful when producing a series of consistently positioned holes. The tool can punch up to 17.5mm from the material edge.
A strong spring return assists with efficient punch removal and makes repeated operation easier. The jaws are case hardened to HRC 57 for durability, while zinc-plated handles provide a rust-resistant finish and feature detailing for additional grip. Available with 3.2mm, 4.8mm and 6.4mm punch diameters, the range provides options for different precision punching requirements.
